Kura Presents Seven Papers at AWMA Conference

July 17, 2006 — Dr. Bhaskar Kura, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, presented seven papers at the 99th Annual Conference & Exhibition of the Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA), including a paper on Katrina’s impact on New Orleans and debris management.
The AWMA is a world leader in promoting environmental research, and the recent conference was held June 20-23 in New Orleans with an estimated 3000 attendees. Dr. Kura is an expert in the field of Environmental Engineering, especially in the area of environmental problems associated with shipbuilding.
