UNO Employee Rodney McKelroy Returns from Operation Iraqi Freedom

NEW ORLEANS, Mar, 2004 — The University of New Orleans is proud to welcome back Rodney McKelroy, who finally returned after over a year of service to our country in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Rodney served with distinction and honor with the 377th Theater Support Command (TSC) as a Captain in the United States Army.

With the 377th TSC, Cpt. McKelroy helped make world history in 2003 when Army and Marine units made their lightening march into Baghdad , Iraq and liberated the Iraqi people. The 377th TSC provided all the needed logistical support necessary to carry these units. Cpt. McKelroy was deployed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait - directly engaged in waging war on terrorism.

Rodney returns home to a wife and 2 children and to a University thankful for his service and grateful to have him back. Rodney will be working for the National Center for Advanced Manufacturing (NCAM) as Project Manager and also for the College of Engineering as Program Coordinator.
